I just posted something about Chum Gum on the St. Louis Post-Dispatch website. I have used them for more than 30 years. I grew up in Dothan, Al. Those were the good ole days! While this gum could be blown into bubbles, in other respects it was vastly inferior to regular chewing gum, and Blibber-Blubber was never marketed to the public. I would sit in front of the store chewing away and blowing bubbles while I listened to some top hit song play on their parking lot speaker.Love Me Do by the Beatles comes to mind. I'm 38yrs.old and only found it in Woolworth stores in the Chicago area.I can still taste that juicy soft flavor in my BUDS.Hope a manufactor can bring our good old CHUM GUM back!!!!!! Wow!
